How it works

No audio interface required. If you have a MIDI controller you already have everything you need.

Add your songs
Type or paste ChordPro lyrics in the built-in editor. Assign each song a MIDI program number. Import fixture profiles from the 8,000+ fixture library.

Connect your MIDI gear
Plug in your controller via USB. MidiPrompter auto-detects it. Enable MIDI clock output on your controller — takes about 60 seconds.

Tap bar markers during rehearsal
Play through each song and tap at each section change. MidiPrompter learns your structure and sets up scroll cues automatically.

Play the show
Hit your first patch. The song loads, the lights change, the words scroll. Every device updates in real time. You just play.

Connect an Art-Net node to your DMX rig and MidiPrompter takes over the lighting board. Programme a timeline of colour presets per song — lights change at exactly the right bar, every time.
